12 Chapel Road, Weldon, Corby, Northants NN17 3HP
Weldon's last working windmill dates from 1839 and was located near Larratt Road, Weldon close to where RS Components is now. After an active life in the 19th Century the windmill fell into disuse. It was struck by lightning and damaged in a gale on Boxing Day in 1915 and finally dismantled soon afterwards. We liked Weldon's old windmill and hope you will try and like this quintissentially English Ale which is made of finest pale malt and crystal malt variants, Northdown and East Kent Golding hops feature heavily along with a very special English Golding cultivar from little known hop farms in Slovenia.
